Austin Baker
Austin received his black belt on 1/9/2021 from Flavio Almeida. After just one year as a black belt, he is currently the highest ranked competitor in Arizona. He started the season this year as 29th in the world (pound for pound) under the International Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Federation. This is a result of winning several local events such as the Phoenix Open while also taking second and third at American Nationals and the Pan-American Championship respectively.

Paul has been training Jiu Jitsu since 2016 and has trained under Austin for more than 3 years. He has a proven track record in starting and growing successful businesses in a range of fields. His passion for Jiu Jitsu and experience in business development moved him to start Sol BJJ.
